Five players made important contributions to India's victory. It would not be wrong to call him the hero of victory. Let's take a look.

1) Mohammed Shami - Mohammed Shami was not a key player in the playing 11 at the beginning of the tournament, but now he has become the life of the team. When the Indian team needs a wicket, the captain immediately looks at Shami. This player always maintained the trust of his captain. In the semi-final against New Zealand, Shami took seven wickets for 57 runs in 9.5 overs. Shami also became the first Indian bowler to take seven wickets in an ODI innings. Apart from this, many records are registered in Shami's name.

2) Virat Kohli - Call him King Run Machine or Chase Master. Kohli has executed each name differently. Kohli became the first batsman in the world to score 50 ODI centuries. He was also troubled by cramps in the semi-final against New Zealand, but his fitness was so amazing that despite enduring the pain, he played a brilliant innings. Kohli scored 117 runs in 113 balls with the help of 9 fours and two sixes. Kohli made many records in his name. He played an important role in taking India to a huge score.

3) Shreyas Iyer - Shreyas Iyer became the solution to the puzzle of a number of the Indian team. Scored back-to-back centuries in the World Cup. Iyer had spread disappointment in the Kiwi camp with his attractive stroke style. He scored 105 runs in just 70 balls with the help of four fours and eight sixes. When Iyer was out, India had crossed the score of 380 runs. Shreyas Iyer stood third in the list of heroes.

4) Shubhman Gill - The Indian team's young opener Shubhman Gill also quenched the thirst of entertaining the audience with his runs amidst the heat of Mumbai. Gill retired due to cramps and missed scoring a century. He returned to bat in the end, but there were not many balls left. Gill gave a strong start to India by forming a brilliant partnership with Rohit-Virat. He remained unbeaten after scoring 80 runs in 66 balls with the help of 8 fours and three sixes.

5) KL Rahul - If you are thinking that Rohit Sharma should have been kept at this number, then you would not be wrong, but Rahul also had an amazing performance in fielding, due to which he could make a place in this list. KL Rahul gave the finishing touch to the first Indian innings and scored an unbeaten 39 runs in 20 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes. Thanks to Rahul, India made a Himalayan score of 397 runs. After this, Rahul performed brilliantly in fielding and took four catches. This was the reason why he was included in the list of heroes.
