Rapper Shubh: When the concert was cancelled, Canadian rapper Shubneet Singh changed his tune, and said - India is my country too

Punjabi singer Shubh's (Shubneet Singh) post has created so much uproar that now his upcoming India tour has been canceled. Canadian singer Shubneet Singh alias Shubh, who came into controversy after the post of removing Punjab Jammu and Kashmir from the map of India, has issued his first statement after the entire incident.

 

This reaction of Shubneet aka Shubh comes after boat-speaker company Mumbai withdrew sponsorship and the show was canceled from September 23 to September 25. Punjabi-Canadian rapper Shubh said that he is very disappointed with the cancellation of his India tour. In a statement shared on the internet media's Instagram platform, Shubneet Singh said that he had been training hard for his India tour for the last two months and was very excited about his program in the country.

 

'Extremely disappointed by the cancellation of India tour...'

Shubh wrote in his Instagram post, 'As a young rapper-singer coming from Punjab, India, it was my life's dream to put my music on the international stage. However recent events have affected my hard work and progress. So I wanted to say a few words to express my disappointment and sadness. I am extremely disappointed with the cancellation of my tour in India. I was very excited to perform in my own country, in front of my people. Preparations were in full swing and I had been practicing for it with all my heart and soul for the last two months. I was very excited, happy, and ready to perform. But I think destiny had something else in store.

 

Punjab is my soul, Punjab is in my blood

Describing India as his country, the singer wrote in the post that when it came to making sacrifices for the country's freedom, his 'ancestors and gurus did not blink an eye'. India is my country too. I was born here. This is the land of my gurus and my ancestors, who did not even blink an eye to sacrifice for this land's freedom, its glory, and its family." And Punjab is my soul, Punjab is in my blood. Whatever I am today Because I am a Punjabi.

 

Why did you post that…?

Rapper Shubh finally said, “My intention in re-sharing that post on my story was only to pray for Punjab as there were reports of power and internet shutdown across the state. There was no other idea behind it and it was certainly not my intention to hurt anyone's sentiments. The allegations against me have deeply affected me, but as my Guru has taught me 'Manas ki jaat sabaiyekai pachinko (All human beings are the same) and taught me not to be afraid,…so I will continue to work hard. I and my team will be back soon and stronger. May Waheguru have mercy on everyone.
