Animal: Sandeep Reddy defends Ranbir Kapoor-Trupti Dimri's boot-licking scene, says - there is nothing anti-women in it

Amidst the success of Animal, the film has also been the subject of frequent controversies. Many scenes and dialogues in the film enraged a section of the audience. The animal was also given many tags including misogynist. There is also a boot-licking scene in the film, which caused the most controversy. Now director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has defended this scene.

 

There was so much controversy regarding the boot-licking scene of Animal that the director had to talk about it. He said that the audience took it as an anti-women scene, whereas it was shot keeping some other angle in mind.

 

Trupti Dimri in Animal Park

Sandeep Reddy Vanga also talked about Animal as well as its sequel Animal Park. He said that Zoya and Rannvijay's love angle will be further explored in the next part. Along with this, romance will once again be seen between Ranbir Kapoor and Trupti Dimri in Animal Park.

 

The licking scene is described as an emotional

Talking about the boot-licking scene of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said that it was an emotional scene, but the audience understood it as something else. While explaining the scene, the director said that Ranvijay is confused in this scene, because somewhere he has connected with Zoya and he is not even aware of it.

 

What did the director say?

Ranvijay is already married and is the father of two children. In such a situation, his association with Zoya is troubling him. In this scene of the film, when Zoya proposes to Ranvijay, he gets upset and angrily asks Zoya to lick his shoes.

 

The scene is not anti-women

Sandeep Reddy Vanga further said that this scene is a reaction to Rannvijay's emotions and anger. There is nothing misogynistic about this, but the audience took this scene from a different angle.
