ISRO's versatile sounding rocket RH-200 on Wednesday registered its 200th consecutive successful launch from Thiruvananthapuram's Thumba coast. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) termed it a historic moment. This feat of ISRO was witnessed by former President Ram Nath Kovind and ISRO Chairman S Somnath and others.

The national space agency headquarters said the Rohini-sounding rocket series has been the forerunner to ISRO's heavier and more complex launch vehicles.
