IPL 2024: 'Play the entire season otherwise...', veteran all-rounder got furious when foreign players left IPL midway

Posted on 16th May 2024 01:00 pm by rohit kumar

Many players of the England cricket team have left IPL 2024 midway and returned home. The England team will now start preparing for the T20 World Cup. Before this, from May 22, the England team will play the T20 International series against Pakistan. Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan did not like this attitude of the English players.

Pathan has vented out his anger on foreign players through his official ax handle. English players like Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Will Jacques, Phil Salt, and Reece Topley have left for home. Jonny Bairstow and Sam Curran will also return soon. Expressing his displeasure over this, Irfan Pathan wrote a post"Either be available for the entire season or don't come."

Let us tell you that Punjab Kings fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has also left for South Africa. Rabada suffered an infection and is trying to recover before the T20 World Cup 2024.

Rajasthan faced defeat

Irfan Pathan vented his anger on the foreign players and Rajasthan Royals bore the brunt of the lack of star players. Royals could not get the services of their veteran opener Jos Buttler against Punjab Kings. Rajasthan Royals suffered a five-wicket defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings with 7 balls remaining. This was the fourth consecutive defeat for Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals.

Butler had an excellent performance in IPL 2024, where he scored 359 runs in 11 matches at an average of 39.89. It includes two centuries. The Royals team has qualified for the playoffsbut they will be missing their wicketkeeper-batsman. It is noteworthy that two RCB players Will Jacques and Reece Topley have also returned home, so it remains to be seen what problems the franchise will have to face in reaching the playoffs.
