A video of the Delhi Metro is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In which some people are seen jumping out of the exit gate of the metro station. After which a statement from Delhi Metro has come out.
According to DMRC, 'It was Shab-e-Barat that day. Due to this, the crowd at the station had increased. Due to this, a huge crowd gathered at the exit gate. The incident happened only for a few moments and soon normal situation was restored at the station. Security personnel and other staff were adequately present there and the situation never went out of control.'
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) wrote on social media platform X, "About a viral video circulating on social media about some passengers jumping over the AFC gates to exit, DMRC wishes to inform that the said incident took place on the evening of 13 February 2025 at Jama Masjid Metro Station on Magenta Line. There was a temporary rush of passengers for some time due to some passengers jumping over the AFC gates to exit. Security personnel and other staff were adequately present to counsel such passengers and the situation never went out of control. The incident lasted only for a few moments and normalcy was soon restored at the station."
