Taking a dig at the previous Aam Aadmi Party government, he said, "We are not the kind of people who flaunt IIT degrees and run campaigns like odd-even or 'car on, car off'. We are tackling the pollution problem through long-term administrative methods."
Sood emphasized that the government wants children not only to study smartly but also to breathe clean air. He further added, "We want our children to study smartly and breathe clean air. In the first phase, air purifiers will be installed in 10,000 classrooms."
Delhi's air quality remains in the 'very poor' category.
The pollution level in the capital is increasing due to falling temperatures. Despite favorable weather conditions, the pollution level remains in the 'very poor' category today. The morning began with fog and mist, and a light layer of smog was also visible in the sky. This resulted in very low visibility in several areas. People also experienced eye irritation, and those with respiratory problems faced difficulties.
