Delhi New CM: After PM Modi's arrival, who will get lucky and become the Chief Minister of Delhi?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned from his US tour late on Friday night. With his return to the country, the activities of forming the government in Delhi will also gain momentum. A decision on the name of the Chief Minister can be taken in the meeting of the winning MLAs of BJP within the next two days. Many times in the BJP, the winning MLAs are told the choice of the central leadership of the party, and all the MLAs give their consent to it. That is, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will decide who will become the Chief Minister in Delhi. After the victory of the BJP in Delhi and PM Modi's foreign tour, it was already indicated that the final name for the CM would be finalized only after the return of the PM.

It is believed that the BJP leadership can try to satisfy all these by giving proper representation to the leaders of Bania, women, Punjabi, Jat, Purvanchali, and other communities on important posts like Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Assembly Speaker, and six ministers.

In the BJP, an attempt is always made to give a political message through the selection of the Chief Minister. An attempt is made to make that person the Chief Minister through whom a message can be given to a large section of society. For example, it is believed that by making Mohan Yadav the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP had worked to give a message to the voters of the Yadav community in UP-Bihar that if only people from one family become Chief Minister-Minister and leader in Samajwadi Party and RJD, whereas in BJP a person from the Yadav community coming from an ordinary family can also become the Chief Minister. With the help of this, the BJP had tried to bring an influential caste of UP-Bihar with it. In other states also the party tries to make equations in the same way.

What are the equations in Delhi?

Before making a Chief Minister in Delhi, there are many political equations in front of the BJP which the party can try to manage. It can try to manage the influential Bania and Punjabi community in Delhi politics as well as Sikh Sardars. If the party bets on a Jat's face, then it can get its benefit in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar at the end of this year. Voters from Purvanchal have voted heavily for the BJP in Delhi as well, which is why the BJP has been successful in reaching power. Most of the people in Delhi's slums are from this area. They have supported the BJP strongly this time. Since the party had given tickets to only four Purvanchal faces in this election and the Purvanchal leaders of the party had also expressed their displeasure over this, BJP can try to appease this section by allowing a Purvanchali for the post of Chief Minister. Its message will not be limited to Delhi-Bihar only, but it will send a message to UP and Madhya Pradesh. If this happens, then one of the Purvanchal faces can get lucky.

Punjab has still proved to be a tough job for BJP. The party can try to appease politics from Delhi to Punjab by making a leader from Punjabi or Sikh community its face. BJP does not have any woman in the post of Chief Minister right now. If the party leadership thinks of appeasing women, then it can honour a woman like Rekha Gupta or Shikha Rai by giving them an opportunity.

Only two names for the post of Assembly Speaker

Among the winning MLAs, Mohan Singh Bisht is the most senior. He has been an MLA for six times. Apart from him, Vijendra Gupta, the MLA who won from Rohini, has held the post of Leader of Opposition. He has a lot of experience in the House. It is believed that the party can put forward the name of one of these two leaders as the Assembly Speaker.
