The tension between the US and China over Taiwan is no longer limited to just two countries. Many countries of the world are now joining it. China had started threatening war even before Nancy Pelosi's visit. After Pelosi's visit, China is now engaged in military exercises by encircling Taiwan from all sides. While many countries have blamed China for this matter, Russia has openly come in support of Dragon. Russia has accused the US of increasing tension.
Nancy Pelosi went to Taiwan to provoke Russia's speech
On behalf of Russia, it has been said that due to China being a sovereign nation, it has the right to conduct major military exercises near Taiwan. When the Kremlin spokesman was questioned about China's military exercise, he said, it is a universal right of China. Tensions in Taiwan and the region have escalated due to the visit of Nancy Pelosi. It was a completely unnecessary visit and was done only for provocation.
Pakistan justifying China
China's evergreen friend Pakistan has also supported China while supporting the One China policy. On behalf of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan, it was said that the world is not ready to face any other crisis at this time. This will cause great harm to the world economy and peace. Mutual respect is essential in international relations, the statement said. No one should interfere in internal matters. Bilateral agreements must be taken into account in keeping with the principles of the UN Charter.
What is 'One China Policy
China claims its authority over Taiwan by talking about the One China Policy. In fact, in 1644, the ruling dynasty Ching, which ruled in China, unified China, this dynasty ruled till 1911. When civil war broke out in 1949, the Communists and the government of the Kuomintang revolted. In this, the Kuomintang people were defeated and then they went to Taiwan and formed the government there. Now it is claimed from both sides that they are the officers of the entire area. China says that Taiwan is a divided part of it and one day it has to be included in the mainland. It does not recognize the elected government of Taiwan. China also considers Hong Kong, Tibet, and Xinjiang as its territory. Due to pressure from China, countries including the US could not recognize Taiwan as an independent country.
