Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the closing ceremony of the 'Meri Maati-Mera Desh' campaign on Tuesday. During this, the Prime Minister will launch the body ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Memorial will be built next to the War Memorial: Anurag

Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday said that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Memorial will be built near the War Memorial in New Delhi. During the program, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial.

 

Anurag said, under the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign, youth have reached the path of duty by collecting soil from more than 6 lakh villages across the country. This campaign is a tribute to those soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. This is the last program under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Now Amrit Vatika will be made from this soil. He said it is the dream of Prime Minister Modi to strengthen the national spirit among the youth and enable them to play a bigger role in nation-building. It witnessed vibrant participation from all 36 states and union territories, symbolizing the true spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. The campaign saw more than 25,000 Amrit Kalash Yatris from 7000 blocks in 766 districts across the country singing patriotic songs and performing beautiful cultural dances.
