Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday said that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Memorial will be built near the War Memorial in New Delhi. During the program, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial.

Now Amrit Vatika will be made from this soil. It witnessed vibrant participation from all 36 states and union territories, symbolizing the true spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. The campaign saw more than 25,000 Amrit Kalash Yatris from 7000 blocks in 766 districts across the country singing patriotic songs and performing beautiful cultural dances.
