Indian soldiers posted on the border are now going to be converted into fighting machines. Ballistic helmet on head, Ballistic goggles in eyes, Bullet jacket on the body, Eblo pads on elbows, Knee pads on knees, Headset in ears, AK-203 automatic rifle in hands.

On the day after the 75th Independence Day, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh handed over modern weapons and equipment like F-INSAS, Nipun Mines, and Assault Landing Craft to the Indian Army. The special thing is that all these have been made in India itself.

F-INSAS: Our soldiers will become fighting machines

F-INSAS stands for Future Infantry System as a Soldier; That is, in the future, only a soldier will act as a weapon. This complete system will be given to the soldiers posted on the border. These will have modern weapons and equipment, which will have a very low weight. These will be useful in every season in all areas i.e. mountains, deserts, plains everywhere.

The purpose of F-INSAS is to modernize the infantry. This will increase the operational capability of the soldiers, that is, the soldiers will be able to attack the enemies faster and faster.

The F-INSAS is being built in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh under a joint mission of India and Russia. Apart from F-INSAS, Rajnath Singh has also handed over many modern weapons to the Indian Army. Get to know them one by one…

Nipun Mines: Like anti-tank mines, they are used to blow up enemy soldiers.

Nipun Mines are called Anti Personal Mines. DRDO has named them Soft Target Blast Munitions. They act like anti-tank mines. Anti-tank mines are used against heavy vehicles. Nipun mines will be used against intruders and enemy foot soldiers.

Landing Craft Assault: Will take 35 combat troops at once

Landing craft assault is a kind of boat. It can also be used in Pangong So lake of Ladakh. It can take 35 combat soldiers at a time in a very short time. The landing craft has been built by Aquaria Ship Yard Limited, Goa. Its speed and capacity are better than the earlier boats.

SRAX MK-2: Army's communication will not be blocked

It is an automatic telephone exchange. This will improve the line of communication of the army. It is completely digital and cannot be blocked. This is a better system for talking to soldiers in border areas. The exchanges that the Indian Army had earlier could not work with the new Internet Protocol technology.

Solar photo-voltaic energy project: will generate electricity by taking energy from the sun

Till now only captive generators were used for electricity in Siachen. It consumes a lot of fuel. To avoid this a photo-voltaic plant has been installed. It will generate electricity by taking energy from sunlight.

Infantry Protected Mobility Vehicle: A vehicle suitable for mountainous roads

It is an 8x8 wheeled vehicle. In this 12 soldiers can sit together. It will be used for commuting in hilly areas. In this, the driver gets 3 periscopes, display catching vision, and front and rear cameras. Through these, attacks from all four sides can be better monitored. Also, having one seat after another, the soldiers on both sides get 3-3 ports for firing. This will give faster and more security to the soldiers on the northern border of India. The Infantry Protected Mobility Vehicle is manufactured by M/s Tata Advance Systems Limited.

Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle (Medium): Helpful with quick and precise strikes

This is a 4x4 wheeled car. This will help in attacking faster and better. Also, it is more secure. It is mine proof, that is, if a mine explodes, there will be no harm to the people sitting inside. It is also capable of protecting soldiers from explosives of 14 and 21 kg. In this 14 soldiers can sit together.

Also, it can carry a load of up to 2 tons. This is a better car for the mountains. It has 10 firing ports. The Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle (Medium) has been developed by Tata Aerospace and Defense.

RPAS: Will remove deficiencies in military testing

RPAS will address the operational problems faced by Indian Air Force aircraft and unmanned aircraft. It will empower the Indian Army by bridging the gaps in surveillance, search, and military testing of infantry battalions and machine units.
