The Government of India has decided to send 2 Air India aircraft to rescue these people. Both these aircraft will start flying at 2 am on Saturday. This plane will airlift people through Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

Earlier, Indian evacuation teams have reached the Romanian borders, from where the Ukrainian capital Kyiv can be reached by just 12 hours of driving. The rescue team will bring the Indian people to Bucharest. After this these people will board the plane. With the airspace closed for civilian flights, Indian citizens will board flights to Bucharest to return home safely.
About 18 thousand Indians are still stranded
