Russia Ukraine War: Indians stranded in Ukraine will be airlifted via Romania, 2 Air India planes will leave tomorrow!

Russia Ukraine Conflict: There is good news for thousands of Indians trapped in Ukraine due to the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The Government of India has decided to send 2 Air India aircraft to rescue these people. Both these aircraft will start flying at 2 am on Saturday. This plane will airlift people through Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

 

The rescue team reached the border of Ukraine!

 

Earlier, Indian evacuation teams have reached the Romanian borders, from where the Ukrainian capital Kyiv can be reached by just 12 hours of driving. The rescue team will bring the Indian people to Bucharest. After this these people will board the plane. With the airspace closed for civilian flights, Indian citizens will board flights to Bucharest to return home safely.

 

About 18 thousand Indians are still stranded

 

Let us inform that on Thursday, Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan assured the families of Indians stranded in Ukraine that the Indian government is working on a war footing to bring back about 18,000 Indians stranded there. Because air flight is closed in Ukraine, alternative arrangements are being made.

Meanwhile, on Friday, several Indian nationals took shelter in the Indian Embassy in Kyiv. There are also reports of firing around the embassy premises, but no casualties have been reported. The Indian Embassy is appealing to the Indian people to remain calm. They are being told that a plan is being worked out to get them out through an alternate route soon.
