New Delhi, March 18 (IANS) The Delhi government Wednesday issued a show cause notice and also ordered a probe into the management of private Ryan Public School asking its students and staff to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Taking cognizance of the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who also hold the education portfolio, has directed the department's deputy director to inquire into the controversy.
"A senior official at the Education Department said Ryan International school has been asked to file reply to the show cause notice within three days and a probe has already been initiated against it," Sisodia tweeted.
He urged all the administrators of the city schools not to run any sort of political activities in the institutions.
