Security: VIP security and additional bulletproof jackets to CISF personnel posted in Delhi Metro, approval for the purchase

The government has approved the purchase of 3180 additional bulletproof jackets and helmets. These bulletproof jackets and helmets are to be given to that CISF personnel who will be posted in Delhi Metro, government institutions, and VIP security. According to a report released by news agency PTI, this purchase will be done at an estimated cost of Rs 16.51 crore.

 

 

Let us tell you that apart from the security of Delhi Metro, the CISF personnel is also responsible for the security of many buildings in the national capital including North Block Housing where the Home Ministry and Finance Ministry offices are located, Shastri Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan, Udyog Bhawan. Is. Apart from CISF, the newly procured bulletproof jackets will also be given to the personnel of Government Building Security and Special Security Group.

 

 

Let us tell you that 13,000 personnel of Central Industrial Security Force while three thousand personnel of GBS and SSG are deployed in the security of Delhi Metro.
