Sikandar: Muslim activists demanded a boycott of 'Sikandar', and director AR Murugadoss became the reason for this!

Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' released on March 30, which received mostly negative reactions from critics and audiences. The film's earnings have also declined. However, now the film seems to be stuck in another trouble. Muslim activists have called for a boycott of 'Sikandar', accusing the director of Islamophobia.

 

Urge to boycott Sikandar.

 

Mumbai lawyer and activist Sheikh Fayaz Alam has urged Muslims to boycott AR Murugadoss' film Sikandar this Eid. He has cited the director's previous Islamophobic story in Thuppakki. According to reports in the Free Press Journal, Alam said that instead of spending on entertainment, donated to Gaza and invest in Muslim education, legal aid, and political empowerment.

 

Call to boycott Israeli products.

 

Alam said that with the introduction of the Waqf Amendment Bill, questions are being raised about whether leaders like Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, and Chirag Paswan will stand with Muslims or betray them. Alam called for a boycott of Israeli products and stressed that protecting Palestine is protecting Islam. He said, 'This is not the time to celebrate. This is the time to sacrifice.'

Talking about Sikandar, this Salman Khan film has earned Rs 78.81 crore at the domestic box office. It has earned Rs 95 crore worldwide. Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj and other actors in lead roles.
