With this victory, Sunrisers Hyderabad team reached fourth place in the points table of IPL 2024. Cummins called it a great match and admitted that SRH did not think they had a chance of victory till the last ball.

Cummins said, “Nitish Rana is fantastic. He assessed the conditions well and played his shots after settling at the crease. He sent the ball where he wanted, which is fantastic. He had a good day and bowled some good overs too.'' Sunrisers Hyderabad will play its next match against Mumbai Indians on 6 May.
