Security forces have killed 3 terrorists in Awantipora, Pulwama in Jammu, and Kashmir. These include Lashkar commander Mukhtar Bhat, who was attacking Kashmiri Pandits and migrants in the Valley. Along with him, Saqlain Mushtaq of Pulwama and Pakistani terrorist Mushfiq have also been killed.

 

Security forces have also recovered a huge cache of weapons from the terrorists. According to media reports, these terrorists were planning a fidayeen attack in the camp of the security forces.

 

Mukhtar Bhat was associated with The Resistance Front of Lashkar-e-Taiba

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Mukhtar Ahmed Bhat was the commander of The Resistance Front affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba. On 18 April, he left the house in the name of going to his aunt's house. He was missing since then. Later investigation revealed that he had joined the TRF organization and was active in Pulwama.

 

Before becoming the commander, Bhat was an overground worker at TRF for many years. He was making the youth fanatics by brainwashing them. Bhat had carried out many activities dangerous to the security of the country.

Kashmir ADGP Vijay Kumar said that there was news of some terrorists hiding in the area. On this, the police along with the security forces started the search operation. During this, the terrorists started firing on the security forces. In the retaliatory action by the team, 3 terrorists have been killed.

 

Earlier on Tuesday morning, a terrorist was killed in an encounter in Anantnag. According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, information was received about the hiding of terrorists in the Semthan area of ​​Bijbihara. During the search operation, a terrorist opened fire. After this, the security forces also retaliated. In this way, on November 1, 4 terrorists have been killed in two encounters in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

3 hybrid terrorists arrested in Srinagar

Srinagar Police of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday arrested 3 hybrid terrorists in Harnambal. Security forces have recovered a 10 kg bucket of IED and 2 grenades from them. Srinagar Police said that the Bomb Disposal Squad destroyed the IED in the Rangreth area. Also, a case has been registered under UAPA, Arms Act, and Explosives Act.
