Delhi Mayor: BJP spoiled AAP's game, BJP fielded Rekha Gupta for the post of mayor

After the MCD elections in Delhi, the enthusiasm for the mayoral elections intensified. The Bharatiya Janata Party has spoiled the plans of the Aam Aadmi Party. Your path will not be easy now, hoping for a one-sided victory in the mayor's election. BJP has nominated Rekha Gupta as its candidate for the post of Mayor of Delhi. Kamaljit Sehrawat will be BJP's candidate for the Standing Committee, while BJP has declared Kamal Bagri as its candidate for Deputy Mayor. Independent councilor Gajendra Daral, who joined BJP on Monday itself, will also be BJP's candidate for the Standing Committee.

 

BJP got defeated

The BJP, which has been in MCD for 15 years, has had to face defeat from the Aam Aadmi Party in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi this time. For the first time after unification, in the elections held in 250 wards, BJP won 104 seats while AAP won 134 seats. Only 9 seats have come into the account of Congress. After the defeat, the BJP had said not to contest the mayoral election, but now the BJP has fielded its candidates, spoiling the game of the Aam Aadmi Party.

 

AAP has announced these names

Let us tell you that AAP has made councilor Shaili Oberoi from East Patel Nagar its candidate for the post of Delhi Mayor. Aale Mohammad Iqbal, son of Matia Mahal MLA Shoaib Iqbal and Ward No. 76 councilor, has been nominated for the post of deputy mayor.
