BJP vs Rahul Gandhi: 'How many Pakistani jets were shot down? Why are you not asking this', BJP's strong attack on Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is being surrounded for repeatedly raising the statement of Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar regarding 'Operation Sindoor'. Now BJP has taunted him. BJP leader Amit Malviya said on the social media platform X that Rahul is speaking the language of Pakistan. Why is he not asking how many fighter jets of Pakistan we shot down? Rahul should also tell why he did not congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi for such a successful operation.

What did Rahul say?

After Operation Sindoor, political rhetoric has started gaining momentum. Questioning a comment by Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has made new allegations against the government. Rahul Gandhi has said that giving information to Pakistan before our attack was a crime. Rahul Gandhi said that Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has publicly admitted that the Indian government did this. Rahul has questioned who authorized to do this and how many planes did our Air Force lose due to this?

BJP's counterattack

BJP hit back at Rahul for the second consecutive day. He said, 'It is not surprising that Rahul Gandhi is speaking the language of Pakistan and its supporters. He did not even congratulate the Prime Minister for Operation Sindoor. The operation clearly shows India's strength. Instead, he repeatedly asks how many jets we lost. A question that has already been raised in the DGMO briefing. Interestingly, he did not ask even once how many Pakistani jets were shot down during the conflict or how many planes were destroyed while standing in their hangars during the bombing of Pakistani airbases by the Indian Army. What's next for Rahul Gandhi? Nishan-e-Pakistan?

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar had said this about Operation Sindoor.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday after the inauguration of the Honduras Embassy in Delhi, Jaishankar had said, 'It is clear who wanted the firing to stop. We have achieved the goals we had set by destroying the terrorist infrastructure. Since the key objectives were achieved, I think we took the right approach because right at the beginning of the operation, we sent a message to Pakistan that we were attacking the terrorist infrastructure and not the army, and the army had the option to stand by and not intervene.'
