PM Narendra Modi: PM Modi inaugurates Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam, releases first installment of PMShri scheme; know what said

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reached Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan on the occasion of the completion of 3 years of National Education Policy 2020. Here he inaugurated the All India Education Conference. This two-day program is being organized on the occasion of the third anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. On this occasion, PM Modi released books on education and skills in 12 Indian languages and also released the first installment of funds under the PMShri scheme.

 

According to a senior official of the Union Ministry of Education, the first installment of funds was released to selected government schools under the PMShri scheme. These schools will provide education to the students in such a way that they become contributing citizens in building an equitable, inclusive, and pluralistic society as envisaged in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Know about NEP 2020

Inspired by the vision of the Prime Minister, NEP 2020 was launched to groom the youth and enable them to lead the country in the Amrit Kaal. Its objective is to prepare the youth to face the challenges of the future and to inculcate basic human values in them. During the three years of its implementation, the policy has brought revolutionary changes in the field of school, higher education, and skill education.

 

What will happen in the next two days?

The two-day event, to be held on 29th and 30th July, will bring together academicians, sector experts, policymakers, industry representatives, teachers, and students from schools, higher education, and skill institutions, among others, to share their insights, success stories on implementing NEP 2020. and provide a platform for sharing best practices and formulating strategies to take these forward.

 

There will be a total of 16 sessions

The All India Shiksha Samagam will consist of sixteen sessions, including discussions on access to quality education and governance, equitable and inclusive education, issues of socio-economically disadvantaged groups, National Institutional Ranking Framework, Indian Knowledge Systems, Internationalization of Education, among others Will be.
