Only 810 samples were taken in Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand, samples of 810 people have been submitted for investigation in 11 hot spots with a population of 2,07,700 so far. 47 of these have been found infected. While 4767 samples have been taken so far in the entire state, out of which 4239 cases have come negative. The report of 327 samples is still awaited.
Former AIIMS director MC Mishra said that the decision of rapid testing depends on various reasons including the infection rate in every state, the first case in that hotspot and the population there. In such a situation, if every 60th person is sampling in Delhi hotspot and 79th person is sampling in UP, then it can be considered satisfactory.
