He was sentenced to two years, after which he lost his membership in Parliament. Now the High Court has also given them a blow. This would prevent him from contesting elections or seeking revocation of the suspension of his status as a Member of Parliament (MP). However, he can appeal to the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court.
