The three countries which had signed the Budapest Memorandum to Ukraine assured of security, now they become enemies!

One month has passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine. During this one month, Russia has pushed Ukraine back decades by making a tremendous attack on Ukraine. Earlier in this war, Russia had neither used hi-tech missiles nor did airstrikes, but now it is using everything to end this fight quickly and win. But among all this one thing is quite interesting. That is, Russia had once signed a memorandum together with the other two countries, whose purpose was to provide all possible protection to Ukraine when needed. This is known as the Budapest Memorandum. However, now Russia has become the cause of its ruin.

 

Ukraine became independent in 1991

 

Ukraine emerged as an independent nation in December 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The Budapest Memorandum was signed by Britain and the United States together with Russia in 1994. Now where Russia is attacking Ukraine, America and Britain are unable to do anything except impose sanctions. All in all, these three remain the reason for the ruin of Ukraine at this time. After this Russia also deactivated all its nuclear stations located in Ukraine.

 

NATO problem

 

Let us tell you that this war has started because of Ukraine's inclination towards NATO. Although Ukraine started it in April 2008. To date, he has not been able to get its membership. Now Ukraine's patience is starting to respond. This is the reason why he is now looking very aggressive about NATO. This is because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that when he became president, he had put the issue on the back burner because of NATO's equivocal attitude. Not only this, Zelensky has even said that NATO is afraid of Russia, so it is not giving membership to it.

 

Russia is opposed to NATO expansion

 

But it is also necessary to mention that Russia has always been strongly opposed to the expansion of NATO. Russia wants NATO to remain where it was before. Russia sees the expansion of NATO as a major threat to itself. Russia's pressure is behind the non-involvement of other countries including America in the fight between Ukraine and Russia.
