Amnesty International, an organization fighting for human rights, said – there have been allegations of torture by the police. US envoy to Iran Robert Malle said - Mahsa was injured in custody which led to his death. The officers responsible for his death should be punished. Iran must stop atrocities against women.

Iran is one of the countries where wearing an Islamic hijab is mandatory for women. By doing this, the women broke the strict hijab rules of the Islamic Republic of Iran. For this, the No2Hijab hashtag was also run on social media.
