Nationwide blood donation campaign launched on PM Modi's birthday, Health Minister launched the E-Rakt Kosh portal

The country is celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Various programs are being organized across the country on the birthday of PM Modi. These programs were organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the government. Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya participated in the National Blood Donation Camp. On the birthday of PM Modi, this blood donation is being done under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. A blood donation camp was organized at Safdarjung Hospital on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi's birthday.

 

On the 72nd birthday of PM Modi, the Union Health Ministry started a mega drive of voluntary blood donation from 17 September to 1 October. National Voluntary Blood Donation Day is celebrated in the country on 1 October.

 

During this, the Health Ministry also launched the E-Rakt Kosh portal. Through this portal, donors can register for blood donation from September 17. Donors can also select to register themselves on the Aarogya Setu App.

India can make a world record in blood donation

 

According to a health official, India has enough capacity to store blood units. It is expected that if people participate enthusiastically in blood donation, then India can make a world record. An official source said on Wednesday that we are trying to motivate the donors and create a database so that they can donate again and again.

 

Meanwhile, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav participated in the 'Swachhta Pakhwada' at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station on the birthday of the Prime Minister.

 

Significantly, Prime Minister Modi turned 72 on Saturday. Today, on this special day, PM Modi is participating in many programs.
