2 miscreants involved in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case were killed in a gang war in jail. Violent clashes broke out between miscreants in Goindwal Jail in Tarn Taran district in Punjab on Sunday. Crooks Mandeep Singh Toofan and Manmohan Singh Mohana were killed in this. The condition of another crook Keshav is critical. All three were attacked with sharp weapons on their heads, police said.
Tarn Taran's Emergency Medical Officer Dr. Jagjit Singh said that of the three injured brought from the jail in the afternoon, two had died before being brought to the hospital, while the condition of the third remained critical. Slain gangster Mandeep Singh was present as a standby shooter during the murder of Toofan singer Musewala. He was a member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang.
The Lawrence gang took responsibility for both murders.

There was an altercation with the prisoners, then both died in the violence
According to information, gangster Mandeep Singh Toofan had a clash with the inmates in the jail over some issues. After this, the prisoners beat him to death. Three to four other prisoners were also reported injured in the clash.
Assistant Superintendent of the jail Harish Kumar told that these people fought among themselves. All the gangsters involved in the Musewala murder were locked up in one place. There was also security there.
Mandeep Toofan was the standby shooter in the Moosewala murder
Mandeep Toofan was also present around the spot on the day of the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Goldie Brar had kept Mani Raiya on standby besides Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's special Mandeep Toofan. He was asked to cover Jagroop alias Roopa and Manpreet Mannu. Mandeep Toofan's name came to the fore after questioning Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
After the murder of Musewala, both the miscreants went underground
After the murder of Musewala, both the accused had gone underground along with Sandeep of Ludhiana. Sandeep had given shelter to both the accused in the house of one of his relatives in Ludhiana and kept them there for several days. After staying in Ludhiana for a few days, both the gangsters Mandeep Singh Toofan and Mani left Ludhiana while police arrested Sandeep thereafter.
Storm was seen on CCTV at Bathinda's petrol pump
According to the police, Sandeep had sent Amritsar horse dealer Satbir with weapons in his Fortuner to kill Musewala in Bathinda. It became clear only after both of them were seen in the CCTV footage of a petrol pump in Bathinda that it was Satbir who took the accused to Bathinda.
Sandeep had sent 3 shooters to Mansa. Among these shooters, Sandeep had told the names of Mani Raiya, and Toofan to the police. The third shooter is still out of reach of the police and has not been identified.
A case was also registered against both of them in Ludhiana.
According to police officials, the police had registered a case against gangsters Mandeep Singh Toofan and Mani Raiya in Ludhiana some time ago. Both the gangsters are very close to Sandeep Kahlon, who was arrested earlier. Before the murder of Sidhu Musewala, gangsters Mandeep Singh Toofan and Mani Raiya did Reiki of his house for 10 days. By doing Reiki, they used to give all the information to Goldie Brar sitting in Canada and from there the entire conspiracy to kill Sidhu Musewala was hatched.
Keshav helped Haryana shooters escape
Keshav, who was involved in the Musewala murder, had helped the three shooters of the Haryana module, Priyavart Fauji, Ankit Sersa, and Kashish, escape. After the murder, Fauji, Sersa, and Kashish fled into the Bolero. After a few kilometers, Keshav made him sit in his car. From there it reached Fatehabad.
After staying there for a few days, went ahead. He kept hiding in many places. On June 19, in the morning, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested him from Khari Mitthi Road near Mundra Port.
Musewala was murdered on May 29 last year
Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala was murdered on 29 May 2022 at 5.30 pm in Jawaharke village of Mansa. About 40 rounds were fired at Moosewala. 19 wounds were found on Musewala's body. Of these, 7 bullets were directly hit by Musewala. Musewala died within 15 minutes of being shot. Musewala, who was going in a Thar jeep, was chased by a Bolero and a Corolla vehicle.
