UGC: Recognition of colleges will now be canceled if the rules of refund of fees are not followed, written order is issued for strict action

If the rules of refund fees are not followed, now the recognition of colleges will be cancelled. All types of grants given to them will be given rakes. Also, the state governments will take action against such institutions under the State Act.

 

 

Secretary of, the University Grants Commission (UGC), Prof. Rajneesh Jain has written a letter in this regard to all the states, universities, and higher educational institutions late on Tuesday evening. It was made clear that on August 2, the rules set for a refund of fees will have to be followed. For the first time, the UGC has issued a written order for eight types of strict action. In this, there is also a mention of withdrawing the status of deemed university, and not allowing any new program to be started if the fee refund rules are not followed.

 

Full fee refund on the application till 31st October

According to the rules, by October 31, the student will have to refund the full fee on the application for cancellation of admission. Whereas, by December 31, the remaining fee will have to be returned after deducting the cancellation fee of up to one thousand rupees.
