Voting on the Ukraine-Russia war in the United Nations General Assembly
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Wednesday passed a resolution condemning the Russian occupation of four Ukrainian territories. 143 members voted in favor of this motion while five voted against it. The resolution comes days after Russia vetoed a similar resolution in the Security Council, which India had avoided.
