India captain Rohit Sharma compared the team's win in Cape Town to the win at the Gabba. Rohit has described the victory in Cape Town as one of the best victories ever in the history of Indian cricket. India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the shortest test match in cricket history. Only 107 overs were bowled in Cape Town and the match was over in one and a half days.

 

Rishabh Pant played a memorable innings

Rohit Sharma compared this win with the historic Test win at Gabba. Rishabh Pant played a crucial innings at Gabba to defeat Australia and win the Test series in 2020/21. A weak Indian team winning a Test series is one of the golden moments in cricket folklore. Rishabh Pant performed strongly on the Gabba pitch and scored an unbeaten 89 runs.

 

Storm named after Bumrah and Siraj

Let us tell you that there was a lot of pressure on India after the defeat in Centurion. In the second test match, Indian fast bowlers bowled disciplinedly. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj destroyed South Africa's batting line-up in both the innings. While the series took 6 wickets in the first innings, Bumrah took 6 wickets in the second innings.
