
All preparations have been completed at the counting center located at the Market Committee for the voting held in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali Lok Sabha under the fifth and sixth phases of Lok Sabha elections. Regarding this, District Election Officer Subrata Kumar Sen and SSP Rakesh Kumar inspected. Also, all concerned officers were instructed to complete the counting of votes in a completely transparent, impartial, and peaceful manner as per the standards and guidelines of the Election Commission.
Final training of personnel is going on for the counting of votes in two Lok Sabha constituencies of the district to be held on June 4. Regarding this, the District Election Officer and SSP directed all the Assistant Election Officers to ensure all the necessary arrangements inside and outside the counting room of their respective assembly constituencies by coordinating with the concerned officer. Along with this, engineers have also been deployed for technical support at all the counting centers of the state.
District Election Officer Subrata Sen said that the Additional Chief Electoral Officer has informed all the concerned District Election Officers related to this. Now the date of counting of votes is fixed for June 4. Along with this, before all the concerned engineers contribute at their respective workplaces, it should also be ensured that there is no problem in coordination at the center. Regarding this, one engineer has been deployed at each center here. During this period, on the instructions of the Election Commission, the facility of live webcasting has also been provided from the counting centers, which will also be monitored by the technical team. Apart from this, if any technical problem comes to light, it will be resolved by the engineers by continuously monitoring it.
It is noteworthy that on the day of the counting of votes for Vaishali and Muzaffarpur, two Lok Sabha constituencies of the district, an adequate number of magistrates and police personnel will be deployed there in the market committee located in Ahiyapur. Along with this, paramilitary force personnel, CISF, and RSSB personnel are deployed for the maintenance and security of EVMs. Along with this, the counting venue is being monitored through CCTV cameras. At the same time, instructions were given to SDM East Amit Kumar regarding which police officers would be deputed where on the day of counting. Besides, they have been asked to submit the report as to where the magistrates will be deployed, where barricades will be done, and in what numbers they will be deployed.
