Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that UP has set a record in the country by getting a figure of three crore in the case of sample investigation. He said that a total of 1,20,384 samples were examined in the last 24 hours in the state.

Apart from this, patients are getting treatment in government hospitals of L-2 and L-3. It was also informed that the recovery of Covid-19 in the state is more than 98.12 percent. In the last 24 hours, 181 people and so far, 5,91,194 people have recovered and discharged from Covid-19.

Mr. Prasad informed that Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to undertake vaccination of more than 10 lakh health workers and front-line workers.
