US: 'Will wait for investigation from Indian side', America said on the conspiracy to kill Khalistani terrorist Pannu

America has again stated the matter amid allegations against India regarding the conspiracy to murder Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. The US government has said that it will wait for the results of India's investigation into the conspiracy to murder Pannu.

 

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, "Our Secretary of State has raised this matter directly with his Indian counterpart and told him that we take this issue very seriously. He said that he would fully investigate this matter. Will do. He has publicly spoken about the investigation. Now we will wait for the completion of his investigation and its results."

 

Miller said that this is a serious issue for us. The American official had also said a day earlier that we do not tolerate international oppression, no matter who it is. He has also appealed to India for cooperation in the investigation into the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.

 

American officials- inappropriate to comment

Now know, who is Nikhil Gupta and what are the allegations?

According to the US Justice Department, 52-year-old Nikhil Gupta is an Indian citizen and is accused of paying killers to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Gupta was arrested in the Czech Republic on 30 June 2023. Now Nikhil Gupta will be extradited to America from the Czech Republic. The US Justice Department says that an Indian government official, whose name has not been disclosed, was in contact with Nikhil Gupta and other government officials. These people were conspiring to murder Pannu, who is of Indian origin and an American citizen, in America.
