Indian team's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has achieved a double feat on the third day of the third Test match against Australia. Bumrah took six wickets for 76 runs in the first innings of the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy being played at Gabba in Brisbane. After this, he broke the 242-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Head and Smith. He got Smith caught by Rohit Sharma. Then got Head caught by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. After dismissing both of them, Bumrah also got Mitchell Marsh caught by Kohli.

Bumrah's brilliant bowling continued on the third day on Monday. He sent Mitchell Starc to the pavilion by getting him caught by Pant, who became his sixth victim. Bumrah has taken the highest number of 18 wickets in this series so far. These include two fifers. This spell of Bumrah is the best performance of any Indian bowler at the Gabba ground in Brisbane. In this case, he left behind Erapalli Prasanna, who took six wickets for 104 runs in the second innings of the third Test played between India and Australia in January 1968.
