This fan entered Virat's room in the hotel where Team India is staying in Australia. In Kohli's absence, this fan recorded a video of his room and shared it on social media.

 

Virat Kohli has expressed displeasure over this act of the fan. Sharing the video on social media, he wrote in the caption that such interference in his privacy is not right at all. Many celebrities have commented on his post and termed this behavior of the fan as wrong.

Virat wrote in his post, 'I know fans are very happy and excited to see their favorite players. I have always appreciated this enthusiasm of the fans. But I am hurt by what has come of this video. This has worried me about my privacy. If I can't get privacy in a hotel room then where can I get personal space? I object to such interference in my privacy. Please respect people's privacy and don't treat them like your own entertainment.

Virat's wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also termed this act of fan as completely wrong and said that it has hurt the dignity of her husband. He posted on social media- 'There have been many occasions before this when fans have not shown any compassion or mercy towards us, but this incident is the worst ever.'

 

'This is wrong and violates the dignity of a human being. All those people who think that 'if you are a celebrity, you have to deal with' are also part of this problem. A little patience is good for everyone. And if all this is happening in your bedroom, then where is the line between public life and personal life?'

In the video that Kohli has shared made by the fans, things kept in his hotel room are visible. The idols of Lakshmi-Ganesh are placed on a white cloth on their table. Boxes of his caps, glasses, and watches are also visible in it. Several pairs of shoes and several sets of jerseys kept in his room are also seen in this video. Apart from this, many types of creams are also kept on the dressing table.
