The weather has turned pleasant in Bareilly due to light rain on Friday evening. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for the re-activation of the monsoon. Heavy rain is expected for the next three to four days.

 

In the bulletin issued by the Zonal Meteorological Center, the possibility of a thunderclap has also been expressed. It is advised not to use mobile phones in open places and stay away from electric wires and equipment.

Senior meteorologist Atul Kumar told that the monsoon is dominating when the Western Disturbance is less than 30 degrees. Yellow alert in Bareilly and surrounding areas, while Orange alert in Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri. There is a strong possibility of lightning in this. Farmers working in the fields have also been asked to be vigilant.

 

He told that instead of staying in the field when it starts raining with strong wind, one should reach a safe place so that there is no loss of life. If you are in the field or forest and it is not possible to reach a safe place, then go under dense and small trees. Keep plastic sack, dry wood, or leaves under the feet.

 

The maximum temperature dropped by two degrees

On Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, after the movement of clouds and light rain throughout the day. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at a normal level of 25.7 degrees Celsius.

 

The humidity level was recorded at 89 percent and the wind speed was nine kmph. During the monsoon, the humidity can be 100 percent, the wind speed can be 20-25 kmph and the temperature can drop by two to three degrees.

Switch off the appliances like the TV, fridge, etc. running in the house.

 

Keep distance from ponds, reservoirs, and swimming pools.

 

If you don't stand in the group, go far away. There should be no electricity or telephone wires around.
