Barring some states of the country, the rainy season seems to be stopping. The rains in October have brought the onset of winter ahead of time. Light fog appeared in Delhi-NCR on Friday and people felt the pink cold. According to IMD, light to moderate rain may occur in many states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in some states. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in about 16 states of Northeast and South India today i.e. on October 14, 2022.
In many states of India, the continuous rain for three-four days has stopped. According to the Meteorological Department, today (October 14) the sky will remain clear in most districts of Uttar Pradesh. Rain clouds have returned from these states. There is no chance of rain in Rajasthan too.

There is a warning of heavy rain in some states. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 16 states.
The rainy season may stop after October 15
According to the IMD, the rains will continue in many states even today. Conditions are very likely to become favorable for the withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest and Central India during the next 4-5 days.
