Weather Update: The weather remains dry in most of the states of the country. Due to the rapid drop in temperature, the feeling of cold has started. Cold has started in many states of North India from Delhi to UP. According to the Meteorological Department, in many states of North India, the weather will remain dry for the next five days. However, Delhi on Thursday recorded a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below normal. At the same time, if we talk about today 28 October, then the minimum temperature in Delhi will remain 15 degrees even today. At the same time, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees.

 

According to Skymet Weather, the winds have started blowing from the northeast direction, due to which the northeast monsoon will start. Rain activities over Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will start from October 29. And gradually it will increase in South India. Winds blowing from the northwest direction will bring down the temperature in the rest of India.

 

Yellow alerts issued in these states

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over West Central and the adjoining South-West Bay of Bengal. At the same time, a low-pressure line is persisting at low levels from South Interior Karnataka to the Southwest Bay of Bengal via Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu and Kerala today. Heavy rain may also occur in some places. A yellow alert has been issued in these states today i.e. on 28 October.

 

This weather system is active across the country

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in some parts of the country from October 29. According to the IMD report, Northeast Monsoon rains may occur along with north-easterly winds in the lower troposphere level over the Bay of Bengal and South Peninsular India. The forecast also said that cyclonic circulation is presently persisting over West Central and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal in the lower troposphere levels. In addition, the Meteorological Department said that a trough in lower troposphere levels extends from South Interior Karnataka to the Southwest Bay of Bengal across Tamil Nadu.

 

Rain warning for the next two days in these states

The IMD said that due to the above conditions, rain is likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Kerala on October 29 and 30. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on October 30. Light rain is very likely at isolated places over North-Eastern states and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two days. The forecast also said that dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest of the country during the next five days.

 

Delhi may get stifling air

Delhi's air has become very bad as the weather conditions change. The air index has reached above 300. Along with the northwest wind, the possibilities of stubble smoke are also increasing gradually. According to the Meteorological Department, the air of Delhi may become stifling in the first fortnight of November. Talking about pollution in Delhi, the Air Quality Index was recorded at 329 at 7 am on Friday, while the AQI was recorded at 440 at Anand Vihar station, which falls in the severe category. The AQI was 427 recorded at Anand Vihar station till 6 pm on Thursday. At the same time, an AQI of 417 has been recorded in Loni, Ghaziabad, which falls in the severe category. Pollution in Delhi-NCR is continuously increasing at an alarming level.

 

How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh?

In the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature will be recorded at 17 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Ghaziabad today is 16 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 31 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may drop further in the next 1-2 days. Due to this, the cold is likely to increase.

 

Cold knock in Himachal Pradesh

In Himachal Pradesh, the weather is expected to remain clear for a week in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will increase during the day due to sunshine. No relief from the cold at night. With the approaching of winter, the nights in the plains are now much colder.
