Weather Update: Under the shadow of Red and Orange Alert, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of the country, Delhi and other states

Monsoon is raining in most of the states of the country. Given the heavy rains, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued an alert regarding many states. IMD senior scientist RK Jenamani informed us that there is a possibility of heavy rains in many states.

 

Red alerts were issued for these states

According to the Meteorological Department, South Odisha is facing low pressure along the North Andhra coast over West Bay. Therefore, due to this, it is raining very heavily in different places. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Along with this, given the heavy rains in Odisha, Orange Alert has been issued.

 

Orange alert issued for Delhi

There is a possibility of rain in many states of North India as well. IMD has issued Orange Alert for Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana.

 

Exams canceled in Mumbai due to rain

Mumbai University has canceled all examinations scheduled for Thursday across the city due to heavy rains. The university said that the new date will be announced later. The India Meteorological Department said Mumbai received moderate to heavy rains from July 25-26.

 

It will rain in these states for the next few days

 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of torrential rain in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana for the next two days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain from Wednesday to Saturday in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh till Saturday.

At the same time, light to moderate and heavy rains have been predicted in Northeast India till July 30. It has been said that there is a possibility of very heavy rain at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on Friday.
