Trade can also be adversely affected
India and Bangladesh have been a major trading partner. According to the data available on ibef.org, the total trade between the two countries in the financial year 2023-24 was $ 14.22 billion. In FY 2023, 6,052 items were exported from India to Bangladesh. This export figure was $12.20 billion, which was less than $16.15 billion in FY 2022.
