With the vaccination in the country, the pace of growth of corona patients is also increasing. Within the last 24 hours, there was an increase in the number of new patients over those recovering in 18 states. Of these, the maximum corona infections were found in Maharashtra. This was the first time since October 18 that more than 9,000 patients were identified in a single day. The Corona report of 9,855 people came positive in Maharashtra on Wednesday. 6,559 people were recovered and 42 died.

 

More than 3,000 active cases increased in 24 hours

On Wednesday, 17,425 corona patients were found in the country. 14,071 people recovered and 87 died. So far 11.1 million people have been infected. Of these, 1.08 crore people have been cured, while 1.57 lakh patients died. 1.70 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. In this way, the number of active patients was increased by 3260 on Wednesday.

 

1.54 crore people were vaccinated

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, so far more than 1 crore 54 lakh 61,000 people have been vaccinated. Of these, 67.75 lakh health care workers have been given the first dose, while 28.25 lakh people have received both doses. Similarly, the first dose has been applied to 57.62 lakh frontline workers, while 3,277 people have received both doses. The vaccine has so far been administered to 1.04 lakh people aged 45 to 60 years and 8.44 lakh people above 60 years of age.

 

Arvind Kejriwal got vaccinated

 

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got Corona vaccinated on Thursday. He was given the first dose at LNJP Hospital in Delhi. Kejriwal, 52, has been undergoing diabetes treatment for 10 years. Their parents have also been vaccinated. All have been given the CoveShield vaccine.

President Ramnath Kovind on Wednesday took the first dose of the corona vaccine at Delhi's RR Hospital. He was accompanied by his daughter. This information was given on social media from the President's Office. The President also thanked all health workers, doctors, and nurses.

 

Crowds of people have started gathering to get vaccinated at the vaccination center. Some similar pictures came from Nagpur. A large number of people over the age of 45 were seen standing in line at the vaccination center here. Some of these people had already registered, so many people had come to register on the spot.

 

The pace of meeting Corona patients in the country is steadily increasing. There are 15 states and union territories where the rate of meeting the positive rate of patients is more than 5%. Maharashtra has the highest positivity rate of 13.2%. Besides, infectives are being identified at 11.1% in Goa, 9.3% in Nagaland, and 9.2% in Kerala.

 

Punjab leads in death rate. About three people out of every 100 corona patients are losing their lives here. The death rate here is the highest in the country at 3.2%. Maharashtra is losing 2.4% in second place. The death rate is recorded in Sikkim at 2.2% and West Bengal at 1.8%.

 

There is news of a relief in corona patients among the boom. There are 5 states and union territories in the country where more than 99% of patients have been cured. These include Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. The highest number of 99.7% of patients have been cured in Arunachal Pradesh.

 

54 students have been infected with Corona at a school hostel in Karnal, Haryana. Civil Surgeon of Karnal Yogesh Kumar Sharma said on Tuesday that our teams have reached the spot. The hostel has been made a containment zone.

 

State of 6 states

 

1. Maharashtra

 

On Wednesday, 9,855 people were found corona infected in the state. 6559 people were recovered and 42 died. So far, 21 lakh 79 thousand 185 people have been affected by the infection here. Of these, 20 lakh 43 thousand 349 people have been cured, while 52,280 patients have died. 82,343 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

2. Kerala

 

On Wednesday, 2,765 people were found corona infected in the state. 4031 people recovered and 15 died. So far, 10 lakh 67 thousand 45 people have been infected. Of these, 10 lakh 16 thousand 515 people have been cured, while 4242 patients died. 45,992 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Wednesday, 417 people were found corona infected in the state. 293 people recovered. So far, 2 lakh 62 thousand 850 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 55 thousand 888 people have been cured, while 3,865 patients died. 3,097 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Rajasthan

 

On Wednesday, 215 people were found corona infected in the state. 85 people recovered. So far, 3 lakh 20 thousand 772 people have been affected by the infection here. Among them, there are 3 lakh 16 thousand 515 people who have been cured. 2787 patients died. 1470 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Wednesday, 475 people were found corona infected in the state. 358 people recovered. So far, 2 lakh 71 thousand 245 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 64 thousand 195 people have been cured, while 4412 patients lost their lives. 2638 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Delhi

 

240 new corona patients were identified in Delhi on Wednesday. 196 people were recovered and three died. So far, 6 lakh 39 thousand 921 patients have been identified. Of these, 6 lakh 27 thousand 423 patients have been cured, while 10,914 patients have died. Currently, 1,584 patients are undergoing treatment.
