A new chapter has been added to Indian cricket history. In the second Test match played at Edgbaston, Team India defeated England by 336 runs and tied the series 1-1. In this match, Shubman Gill created history as captain.

Gill has become the youngest Indian captain to win a Test match on foreign soil. During this, he broke the record of former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar.

Shubman Gill created history as captain.

In fact, at the age of 25 years and 301 days, Shubman Gill led India to a historic 336-run win against England, which is India's biggest win abroad so far.

With this win, India tied the five-match series 1-1. Earlier in 2019, India defeated West Indies by 318 runs, which has been the biggest win on foreign soil so far.

With the victory of Team India under Gill's captaincy, Sunil Gavaskar's record made in Auckland in 1976 was also broken. Then Gavaskar was 26 years and 202 days old when he led the team to victory against New Zealand.
