Delhi Police clashed late on Wednesday night with wrestlers sitting on a dharna over the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. When Congress MP Deepender Hooda came to know about the incident, he reached Jantar Mantar late at night to meet the wrestlers. There the police took them into custody. After custody, he was kept at the Vasant Vihar police post.

I will go inside, meet the daughters, inquire about their well-being, and ask them to keep this protest peaceful. Later, the police took them into custody and took them to the Vasant Vihar police station.
