The Congress on Wednesday accused the Center of being a disaster-prone government and said that it should exempt the medical devices required to deal with the Corona epidemic by performing Good Rajdharma from the purview of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh also claimed that if GST is removed from vaccines, oxygen concentrators, and Remedisvir injection, the public and state governments would get an annual benefit of Rs 6000 crore. He told reporters, GST is being levied on the vaccine at five percent. This government is levying a GST of 12 percent on Ramidecivir injection and 12 percent on oxygen concentrator. GST of 12 percent is also being levied on ventilators, medical oxygen, and 28 percent on ambulances.
Vallabh said this government is a government with opportunity in disaster. I want to tell the government that he did not become so ruthless. She talks of spreading positivity but is levying GST. Did the people of the country sin by believing in you (government) that you are dealing with them?
