In Delhi, in March itself, people have started getting in bad condition due to conditions like May-June, scorching sun, and heatwaves. Today the maximum temperature may reach 40 degrees, the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for two days, the whole of March was dry, there is no chance of rain in the next one week.
The temperature in Delhi has been continuously increasing for the last few days. In the last few days, the maximum temperature has increased by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. In March itself, people are troubled by the heat of May-June. Now the Meteorological Department has warned of a severe heatwave in Delhi, for which a yellow alert has been issued. The weather has been tweeted by the Meteorological Department, according to which, for the next four to five days, heatwave conditions will be seen in West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Rajasthan. At the same time, for two days, a heatwave in the Jammu region, Himachal Pradesh and Saurashtra, and Kutch region will make people sweat.
Hot winds alert in four districts of Himachal
In many areas of Himachal, heat like May has started appearing in March itself. The Meteorological Department had also issued a warning of hot winds on Tuesday in four districts of Himachal, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, and Solan. This will increase the temperature in the coming days. Lack of rain will have a direct impact on the crops already facing drought. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the summer winds from Rajasthan, the direct rays of the sun falling on the mountains and weak western disturbances, this type of weather has been created in Himachal. On Tuesday, Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 7.3 degrees Celsius, while Dalhousie recorded 7.9 degrees above normal. According to the data from the year 2000 till now, the record of maximum temperature has been broken in Dharamsala. After 12 years, on March 29, the highest temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees. Earlier on March 29, 2010, the temperature was 31.6 degrees Celsius.
Jharkhand and Odisha are in the grip of a heatwave
Many districts of Jharkhand and Odisha have started coming into the grip of a heatwave in March itself. In both the states, the temperature of most cities has reached near or beyond 40 degrees. In the next two-three days, there may be a further increase of two to three degrees in these districts. Because of the heatwave, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for more than two dozen districts of both states. This is the first time in Jharkhand that heatwave conditions are forming in March itself. According to Abhishek Anand, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, from March 30, strong heat waves will prevail in a dozen districts including Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Chatra, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Simdega, East Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan, West Singhbhum, Godda. This situation will continue for the next one week. Most of the areas in Odisha will be affected. Due to this, the temperature is expected to rise by two to three degrees.
