The nearly 1,600-page documents mention the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and the Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program (AAWSAP). Both these plans were funded by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) of America. The report includes research proposals, contracts, and meeting notes.

This came into the public eye when the former program director resigned from the Pentagon in 2017.
