Ratan Tata gave a very emotional speech at the inauguration of cancer hospitals in Assam. Starting his speech in English, he said that he is dedicating the last year of his life to health. There was a trembling in his voice and he could speak intermittently.

Giving a speech in English, he also apologized for not being able to speak in Hindi. He said that I will not be able to speak Hindi, so I will speak in English. But whatever I say is straight from my heart. However, after this, he won everyone's heart by talking in Hindi also. Prime Minister Modi himself also praised his speech by clapping.

PM Modi, state CM Hemant Biswa Sarma, and former CM Sarbananda Sonowal were also present on the stage with him. Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for 7 new cancer hospitals for Assam and inaugurated 6 cancer hospitals.

Cancer is a big problem in North East

During the inauguration program of cancer hospitals, PM Modi said that cancer has been a big problem not only in Assam but also in the North East. Our poor and middle-class families are affected the most by this.

Till a few years ago, the patients here had to go to big cities for the treatment of cancer. This placed a heavy burden on these families. I would like to thank Sarbananda Sonowal Ji, Hemanta Ji, and Tata Trust for the steps taken here over the last 5-6 years to overcome this.

I am happy that the hospital remains empty- PM

The Prime Minister said that the focus of our government is on the digitization of health services. The effort of the government is to get rid of long lines for treatment, to get rid of the problems in the name of treatment. For this, one after the other schemes have been implemented.

Hospitals are there to serve you, but I will be happy if they remain empty. I wish the people of Assam good health. The focus of our government is on yoga, fitness, and cleanliness. New testing centers are being opened across the country for a health checkups.
