
Tata Group-owned airline Air India on Thursday unveiled its new logo and design. Air India retained the red, white, and purple colors as part of its logo. The new logo will be named 'The Vista'. The airline also revealed its new tail design and theme song. Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran said the new logo reflects immense possibilities and confidence. Air India unveiled its new logo at a live event on Thursday evening.
The new logo of Air India is part of the new identity and rebranding of the airline. During the launch of the new logo, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that Air India is not a business, it is a passion for the Tata group and this passion is a national mission. The Chairman of Tata Sons said that the journey to make Air India a world-class airline has just begun. During the event, Chandrasekaran said, "The new logo you see here today... Vista has historically represented limitless possibilities, progress, and confidence." During the event, Chandrasekaran said that Air India has done its rebranding with immense possibilities and confidence. He said that in the journey of 15 months, we want to make Air India the best airline in the world with the best experience, technology, customer service, and service. In the last 12 months, we have improved on all our dimensions.
The new logo will be seen on planes from December 2023
The new logo is inspired by the classic and iconic Indian window used by Air India. According to the airline, it symbolizes a window of opportunity. The new brand reflects Air India's ambition to be a world-class airline serving guests around the world, said Campbell Wilson, CEO and MD, of Air India. The new logo has been designed in collaboration with Futurebrand. Air India passengers will see the new logo on planes from December 2023. 'Maharaja' to continue as Air India's mascot
During the launch of the new logo, CEO Campbell Wilson said that the airline is going through a transformation. We still have a long way to go. We have had a great start. "Along with the launch of the logo, a new website and a new mobile app for Air India were also launched. A new customer care set-up will also be put in place by the end of this year," he added.
