Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the new Indian Language Section under the Home Ministry. According to Shah, with the establishment of the Indian Language Section, the already functioning Official Language Department has now become a full-fledged department, which will prove to be a milestone in the direction of freeing the administration from the influence of foreign languages.

All local languages have their strength.

Amit Shah said that the full potential of a person can be used only when the process of thinking, analyzing, and decision-making is in the mother tongue.

According to him, India can be taken to its eternal glorious place only by giving strength to all the local languages.

He said that every language of ours is completely connected with other languages and the development of all languages is not possible without each other. All the language rivers of India together form the Ganga of Indian culture.

Indian languages are the soul of our culture.

He said that Indian languages are the soul of our culture and our culture is the soul of India. According to him, the Indian Language Section will provide a strong and organized platform for all the languages, incorporating the linguistic diversity of India.

He said that we should use technology without reducing the spirit, richness and sensitivity of all languages. It is worth noting that after becoming the Home Minister, Amit Shah has been constantly emphasizing on promoting the use of Indian languages in government work.

Amit Shah answered this matter.

Responding to the discussion on the Home Ministry in the Rajya Sabha during the last budget session, Amit Shah had made it clear that after December this year, he will correspond with all the Chief Ministers in their local language only. Similarly, he will also reply to the letters of MPs, MLAs and general public of various states in their language only.
