The weather is about to change in Delhi. Monsoon has surrounded NCR from three sides. There are indications of heavy rain in large parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, East Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast says that monsoon rain can start in Delhi anytime during the next few hours.

Heavy rain likely in Himachal and Uttarakhand

After South India, a big change is now seen in the weather of North India. With the activation of a new western disturbance in the mountains of the north, there is a possibility of heavy rain from Jammu and Kashmir to Himachal and Uttarakhand.

Monsoon is now rapidly active in the north-western states.

Monsoon knocked in Kerala a month ago on 24 May. After this, it has again moved forward rapidly after taking a break of about 12 days. The IMD forecast says that moving ahead from the states of South India, the monsoon has now rapidly become active in the north-western states.

The wait for monsoon in NCR is now about to end. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, which may continue for the next few days. The weather pattern in NCR may change from late Tuesday night.

Rain will continue in Bihar, Jharkhand and Bengal.

Along with rain, wind may also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Due to its effect, the temperature may fall rapidly. On the other hand, the activity of monsoon may increase in north-western Rajasthan from Thursday. During this time, the rain will continue in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Bengal.
