In several areas, strong winds—accompanied by thunder and lightning—may blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, with gusts potentially reaching up to 50 km/h.

Maximum Temperatures to Drop Over the Next Two Days

Weather Trends During the Week

Initial Relief: On March 30 and 31, cloudy skies, light rain, and strong winds may offer some respite from the heat.

Heat to Intensify in Early April: On April 1 and 2, as the weather remains relatively clear, temperatures will begin to rise, with maximum temperatures potentially reaching up to 36 degrees Celsius.

Another Change Towards Week’s End: On April 3 and 4, under the influence of another Western Disturbance, cloudy skies and light rainfall are once again likely, which may lead to a slight dip in temperatures.

Heatwave Outlook

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no likelihood of a heatwave or Loo conditions prevailing in Delhi-NCR throughout this entire week. While maximum temperatures may hover around 37 degrees Celsius, this will not fall under the category of a heatwave.

Over the coming week, the weather pattern in Delhi-NCR is expected to remain constantly shifting—at times offering relief through clouds and light rain, and at other times bringing a sense of heat as temperatures rise.
